George Baillie “Catechist”

George and his wife Catherine Grant were among those who had to wait until 1822 to get passage from Clyne to Pictou.  We can only imagine where they wintered having been cast out of their home in the spring of 1821.   A full description of this family can be found in the two part post – The Catechist of Coiranscaig.
